Arrival in Venice was very smooth and orgranized. We were met by our Transat Holdiays Rep who whisked us away on the beginning of our Italian journey.
Our tour began with a cruise on the Grand Canal on our authentic water taxi which dropped us close to San Marco Square. We began our trek on foot over bridges and cobblestone paths through crowds of toursists that lead us towards our hotel.
Our afternoon was at leisure where we walked back in time and explored this photographers dream. Our evening concluded with an amazing 3 course Italian dinner topped off with the most scrumptious Tiramisu we have ever had. We are hoping the Ristorantee Antico Pignolo is open for breakfast as well. Stay tuned for tomorrows continuation of our Memories Of Italy. Until then 'arrivederci'
